Morland C. Fischer
Morland Charles Fischer was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and currently resides in Orange, California. He and his wife, Hildy, have been married for 28 years and have 2 children, Dahvi and Brett.
Morland graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He later earned a Juris Doctor and is now a patent and trademark lawyer in Irvine, California. He has been admitted to the Pennsylvania and California State bars and the United States Patent Bar. He is a past president of the Orange County Intellectual Property Association.
Morland C. Fischer has been an avid collector of small size paper money for over 13 years. He is particularly interested in United States star (replacement) notes and world error notes including those featured in this book. He entered the paper money hobby after his curiosity and excitement were piqued watching a late night telemarketer show a U. S. error note.
Besides his numismatic interests, Morland is an active tennis player. He also plays the guitar and writes songs, especially for family celebrations. He has been a regular speaker to professional organizations, elementary schools, high schools and colleges.
